A Wii Little Bit Of Fun

Saturday I met Sara and Joy at McAllister Park for a morning walk. It was a beautiful morning. Afterward I went home and picked up Nathan and we drove over to Moms to go to breakfast with her and with Kelly and the girls. We had to hurry because Nathan had to go to work at 12:30. We went to Cracker Barrel and it-was-yummy! Ashley wanted to eat everyone's bacon. "I just LOVE bacon" she kept saying over and over.

We came home and I took a nap. A little later Mom, Kelly and the girls came over. We sat out in the backyard for a while then came in to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. Great movie! Lacey and Ashley really liked it. Later we had lunch and then went to the park so the girls could run around and play. Ashley had some energy to burn and we were happy to turn her loose in the park. After a while we came back to the house to bust out our Wii A-game. We made Mii's for Mom, Kelly, Ashley and Lacey. They had a blast doing that. Then we played several games of bowling. Kelly and Lacey tested their skills at some other Wii sports and tested their Wii age. Kelly was 53 and Lacey was 70-something. How funny, huh?! They played a couple games of tennis and Kelly was a hard core tennis player. She was hitting so hard and really getting into it!

Kelly called me yesterday and said she was sore and she thought it was from playing the Wii. What's sad is, I know how she feels. When I play the baseball game I practically break my back by twisting so hard!
